Santa Barbera

Off to Santa Barbera today. Our first long distance journey. We drop the top on our rental car, a 2 seater Mitsubishi Eclipse, and cruse along the costal road for about 2 hours.
SB is a nice little beach town. We checkin to our small but modern hotel and head out to the beach where theres a long pier. Its mostly full of fish restaurants and gift stores so we walk to the end and take some photos before returning back and grabbing a fish and chips to share on the way.
We walk along the coast looking for a nice part of the beach to sit for a while when we spot a little park on the opposite side of the road and end up having a great afternoon nap before hitting the shops.
Main street has the usual array of shops and bars. We head to the end and enter the towns main attraction, the historic courthouse. We head up to the tower for a great view all around the town. We can see for miles and take a number of photos. Down below in the courtyard theres a wedding taking place and before we know it the bride and groom are up here with us! We finish our shopping trip by finding a cupcake shop and sharing a cupcake.
